Like Children

Dear God,

We look to You,
The Changeless and Compassionate One;
Like children, we do not know what will happen next,
though as adults we do our best to think and plan ahead.

Our lives are full of change:
Our circumstances may change,
Our health may change,
Our relationships may change.

Have compassion on us,
O Changeless One,
For we are Your faithful followers.
