When The Rope Of Grief Uncoils

Dear God,

When the rope of grief uncoils
a hill of tears,
Give us comfort and calm.

When the news of today
depresses us,
Give us hope and happiness.

When our families are dragged down
by the struggle to get by,
Give us faith and love.

But most of all may we feel
Your presence right now.

Thanks God.
