Beyond these Obstacles

O God of Faith

Life is a journey full of obstacles.

We face obstacles from within -
Emotions that surprise us;
Thoughts and beliefs that turn out to be wrong;
Bodies that sometimes fail us.

We face obstacles from without -
Some are accidental;
Some are intentional;
Some are incidental to the actions of others.

So today, O God of Faith,
Give us the gift of faith
To see beyond these obstacles.
