The Future As A Mystery

Dear God,

We look to the future as a mystery.
We participate through imagination and planning,
yet it's like looking through a keyhole:
There's little we can see clearly.

Will we experience life with health and vigor?
Will we enjoy good work with satisfaction?

Give us the serenity to flow into the future confidently;
Give us the courage to shape the future
through good choices and actions;
Give us the wisdom to know
where to focus our time and energy.

Bless our future as we look forward
to new frontiers.
